Ancient ancestors or ancient aliens? Travel through the Stargate to find out the mysteries of our past according to Roland Emmerich.

The main image for this alternative movie poster for the Stargate movie features the head of Ra, the token baddie emerging from a field of stars, with a minimal representation of the stargate laid on top.

This serves as an homage to the movie that inspired a scifi franchise with a huge fanbase and three television series, and featured the talents of James Spader and Kurt Russell. It was also the final movie appearance of Jaye Davidson before he disappeared from the limelight.

Finally getting back to work on the Dragon addition to the Constellation Fauna series. Been struggling on where to take this piece, but after setting it aside for a while ( and I mean a while) I think I finally got the wind back in my sails. Should hopefully have it finished within the next week.

Wish me luck!

Scorpio bears his stinger! Don’t get stung. Check him out at Wells Illustration.

Virgo settles on down for a dignified sit at Wells Illustration. Show pride in your sign!

Some more progress on the fifth in the series ‘Constellation Fauna’. Layed in the background and the color block for the bears. The bears of course represent the constellations Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.

Should be finished pretty soon!

Cygnus floats daintily on the gently lolling waters of his favorite pond.

“Cygnus” represented by the black swan, is the first in my new series of paintings, “Constellation Fauna”. This series pertains to the constellations and their real or not so real animal counterparts. The image is an illustrated painting of the animal covered with the constellation bearing its name.

This listing is for a print of the original painting, on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper Matte Finish sized 11x14 with white border of .25 inches.

Some more progress on the Constellation Fauna series. A little more on Vulpecula the fox, as well as a partial Cetus the sea monster and Canes Venatici the hounds.

New pics of work in progress. This is the first in the Contstellation Fauna series, Cygnus, the swan.
