This poster is a tribute to the sequel to the movie Elizabeth starring Cate Blanchett as the notorious queen, Elizabeth the Golden Age. The main image is a caricature of the main character in the coronation white with stylized illustrated crown above her head like a halo.

Some progress shots on the paintings for some movie posters for the movies Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Trying to start incorporating some underpainting in the final images, as shown in the un-rendered crown in the first and the red dress in the Golden Age. Also unsure about the background in the golden one. Might change it to a darker greyish color.
